NIGEL

Site Supervisor

Nigel started as a carpenter with IRL Construction and gradually evolved into a site supervisor, through many years of hands on experience and hard work.  Nigel is a real team player. He holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships with employees, owners and contractors, resulting in successful construction experiences. 
Nigel is an active member of many sporting communities in Vancouver including, soccer, hurling, dodgeball and football.

MIKE

Site Superintendent

Mike has over 15 years experience in the construction industry, certified in both Carpentry and Construction Management. As a site superintendent for IRL Construction he oversees the building process from start to finish, ensuring that all trades people on site are preforming quality work, on time and budget. He has a wide variety of hands-on building experience in both residential, industrial and commercial construction. 
Mike is involved with a local sporting team within the community and also sits on its board.

JOE

Site Supervisor

Joe’s 10 years experience in construction enables him to automatically focus on safety and getting the job done, whilst keeping the project on schedule. In addition, when he is on the jobsite, Joe maintains strong communication and interaction with crew members, sub-contractors and clients in his role as site supervisor with IRL.
Joe enjoys music, travelling and participating in social activities in his downtime.

WILLIAM

Site Supervisor

William is a carpenter by trade, specialising in rough carpentry and concrete formwork. He has a vast knowledge of construction detailing and building code requirements, with 15 years of experience in this industry. William quickly worked his way into a site supervisor position since joining the IRL group.
William enjoys various outdoor activities and likes to shoot some pool whenever he has the opportunity.

DAVE

Project Supervisor

Dave has over 10 years experience in the construction industry and is a master when it comes to the finishing details. Leaving no stone unturned, he ensures that onsite workmanship is first class in his role as a site supervisor for IRL. 
Dave is both a player and a coach for local teams within the community. Volunteering his spare time helping others.

CONOR

Construction Assistant

Conor closely works with management within the IRL group, on a daily basis, in his role as Construction Assistant. Conor provides administrative and site support across the organization. Conor is also responsible for numerous activities around our job sites that ensure to keep operations at IRL running smoothly. Conor successfully manages our Hilti OnTrack Fleet program along with vehicle and property maintenance. 
Conor is an active individual who enjoys hiking and playing sports in his spare time.

MARTHA

Account and Office Manager

Martha has her finger on the pulse of all projects as account manager at IRL Construction. Tasked with managing client accounts and employee operations, she has key role within the company.  Martha’s ensures that IRL Constructions day to day operations run smoothly, while always delivering an exceptional level of customer service to our clients and internal staff. 
Martha enjoys attending concerts, fitness classes and social outings in her spare time.

LAURA

Bookkeeper | Admin

Laura helps the IRL team to keep on their financial toes with the task of Bookkeeping and staying on top of all things numbers. Laura’s savy communication skills ensure our good vendor relationships are maintained. Laura also designs and produces marketing material and co-ordinates campaigns, website updates and other special events. Laura’s creativity and organizational skills are a huge asset to IRL Construction.
In Laura’s personal time she volunteers with not for profit groups within the community. Laura enjoys attending comedy shows, movies and traveling.

KEVIN

Business Partner

Kevin is a graduate of the local Simon Fraser University. He is an enthusiastic and driven individual with experience in real estate and project management. His IT background, versatility and forward thinking approach have been evident since his partnership with IRL. 
Kevin is a devoted family man, who enjoys rock climbing, horse riding and outdoor activities with his daughter and wife.

LAURA

HR Business Partner

Laura has been with IRL since the early days, in her role as HR Business Partner. She is heavily involved in the day to day operations of the company. Providing support to our employees and maintaining both customer and team relationships. Laura has an incredible ability to deal with any issues that cross her path. Her strong sense of ethics and leadership abilities enable her to ensure company policies and regulations are maintained. 
Laura is a devoted mom who enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her cairn terrier in her spare time.

WILLIAM

Managing Director

William is the founder and CEO of the IRL group of companies. With a wide range of experience, that has equipped him with valuable knowledge and skills, gained over a 20 year period in construction and business. Williams hands on-approach, tenacity and enthusiasm has led to the recognition of IRL as being a leader within the industry. William has worked across Canada, in the Yukon, Queen Charlotte, Baffin Island and throughout BC. Recently Williams achievements were recognised, with an award of Excellence from the Vancouver Regional Construction Association, for his contribution to the construction industry. 
William is a loving father and husband, who enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys horse riding and several other sports, including soccer and hurling. He also enjoys volunteering and supports many local not for profit organisations, societies, charities and sporting clubs.
